(Quasar) has the unique distinction of a Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business to have Program Management experience supporting the successful installation and turned up execution of the Global Information Grid Bandwidth Expansion (GIG-BE) Program, which is the largest government network ever built to date. Quasar contributed as managing highly trained engineers who provided a turnkey solution with over 110 personnel supporting the demanding requirements worldwide for all 86+ sites. In addition, Quasar provided management/oversite of the optical network engineering, implementation, & project control worldwide in the establishment of this classified network that will provide the terrestrial transport required for the Transformational Communications Architecture (TCA) and DISA Net-Centric Operational Concept.
